Introducing Web MAYSI-2

Web MAYSI-2 logo

In partnership with the Orbis Partners (orbispartners.com), we are extremely pleased to announce the immediate availability of a new web-based version of the MAYSI-2. The Web MAYSI-2 offers organizations a modernized and streamlined version of the popular MAYSI-2 tool. The new web MAYSI-2 offers the convenience of a cloud-based solution, making implementations faster and easier than ever before.

In addition, Web MAYSI-2:

  • Allows organizations to easily manage multiple sites, staff and clients in a single database, to allow easy access to shared caseloads and reports.
  • Requires no investment in hardware, and no end-user software installation. An existing computer with an internet connection is all that is required.
  • Is built upon Orbis Partners' powerful CaseWorks assessment platform, already used by thousands of users.
  • Safely stores data in a secure data center, protecting client information and reducing risk of data loss.

“Orbis Partners is proud to be involved with NYSAP to provide a new web-based software platform for the MAYSI-2”, said Dr. David Robinson, CEO of Orbis Partners. “We are happy to offer the MAYSI-2 assessment not only to our existing users of the Orbis CaseWorks application, but to current and new users of this important mental health screening tool. We are very excited about the launch of this tool which will help to advance case work practice with justice-involved youth.”

“Those of us at NYSAP are excited about our new collaboration with Orbis Partners to provide MAYSI-2 as an online service along with Orbis’ many other case management tools”, said Thomas Grisso, Ph.D., Vice President at NYSAP and co-author of the original MAYSI tool. “MAYSI-2 has been serving the juvenile justice community for over fifteen years, having become the most widely-used mental health screening tool in juvenile justice settings. We have worked together with Orbis Partners for almost a year to develop the new online version of MAYSI-2. So we are confident that it retains all the benefits for which MAYSI-2 has become widely known, while offering far greater advantages than earlier forms of MAYSI-2 administration. The MAYSI-2 Project is committed to a long-term partnership with Orbis Partners to assure the best possible service to juvenile justice programs and the youth in their care.”
